sonar59Powder Flow Cleaning?
Hi all, I hope this hasn't been asked recently, but what technique and items do you use when your changing powders and need to purge/clean your powder flow dispensers? My RCBS powder flow seems to have a knack for keeping powder particulates on the side wall(s). I don't want to foul up my next loads with H110 dust. Thanks

pointblankWhen you do get it clean, wipe the sidewalls and anything else inside you can reach down with a dryer sheet to do away with the static.

sonar59Thanks pointblank, I was wondering if someone had a regular household item that worked real well for wiping the inside of the tube. The static sheet sounds like a good idea, I don't want to make the powder measure sticky by using the wrong stuff, yet keep the film on the measure so if flows more easily. I got particle/chunkage that is very noticable.

sonar59I figured it out, the answer was right in front of me literally. I took a piece of printer paper, folded it in half length wise twice. Then bowed the paper and swirled it around the hopper tube. Cleaned it up good, and after throwing the handle another four times recovered 14.3 gr of H110. That would be more than enough for another 22 Hornet round. Now on to H4381 for the 270.
