Yep, it's .323". Just don't tell anyone that it's really an 8mm because then Amercians won't buy it. roflmao

Baptizing the .325 WSM
By Jon R. Sundra

Last October, Winchester Ammunition finally ended two years of speculation about the new fourth member of its Short Magnum cartridge family. Much to the surprise of those of us who thought it would be either a .257 or a .338, Winchester pulled a fast one and chose to go 8mm (.323). Of course, Winchester is not calling it an 8mm – it’s the ".325 Winchester Short Magnum." Why? Well, for some inexplicable reason, Joe Average hunter and shooter has always shown an aversion to that particular metric caliber.
