Does anyone have the PSI numbers for the three different 45-70 loads?

The CUPloads are:
Trapdoor 25,000
Marlin/Browning lever guns Modern 40,000
Ruger single shot 50,000

I don't think anyone has been able to put a formula that is consistant but, I'll give you a "seat of the pants guess". I'd say multiply cup by 1.1 (or add 10%)

PSI loads for the Ruger single shot are 55,000 PSI; Marlin and winchesters 38,000 PSI; Trapdoors should top out at about 16,000 CUP not 25,000...perhaps thats should be 25,000 PSI but not sure on that.

As far as the CUP for the Trapdoor, I am quoting from the Hornady manual. I consider my Trapdoor retired for now.
