Spray (bake on) Moly coating
About 6 years ago I purchased a spray-on moly coating from Midway.

What was unique about this product was that after you sprayed it on your bullets (and allowed it to dry), you would then put the bullets into an oven, and the finish would melt into the pores of the metal.
It was very durable.

I am not a big moly fan, but I did like it for solids in my double rifle...I believe it reduced wear on the barrel. It certainly reduced pressures.

Anyone know of a similar product?
Lyman makes a spray on moly coating, but it doesn't look like you can bake it on to make it more durable.

Thanks,
Garrett

Midway called it "Air Moly".

They apparently discontinued it several years ago.

I still have a little left in one spray can....
