NOTES: Wind was gusting moving and knocking over targets.
Almost all Wolf primers showed cratering except the BLUE Dot, attributable to softer cups but mostly the rifle.
The difference in results between primer types was non detectable. A better shooter would have gotten better repeatability.
The Wolf primers had a good feel when pressed into the cases; not Whimpy.
IN CONCLUSION I would give this primer all 10s and at less than $18.00/K that ain't all bad.

2ndtimerThanks for the report, Roger. I have wondered about the Wolf primers. The local Sportsman's Warehouse has some of the Wolf large rifle primers for a good price, but I haven't had the nerve to try them out. Nice to know that the small rifle ones work okay. And besides my Remington SPS Varmint in .223 craters all primers in pretty much all loads, so nothing new there.

Bobby TomekThanks for the report. I have been considering giving them a whirl, and now, after reading your report, I will do so.
Thanks!
Bobby
Thanks Roger ; I've been considering a less expensive primer . Fed match are pushing the price envelope now days !.
