Revolver Ammo, A Nice Change In Reloading
I've been busting my hump on an accurate, fast load for .223 Ackley Improved, turning necks, measuring everything.
So tonight I turned out a couple hundred rounds in .357 magnum. What a nice change of pace! I'm able to "eyeball" the whole process. Didn't even open the case with the micrometer. Mixed brass, no trimming, no measuring. Just clean, prime, charge, seat. And using about 25% of the powder for a rifle too.
Bang!

R-WESTThey certainly are a change of pace, no doubt about it. A month or so ago, I was loading some 416 RMAGs with 75 grains of 4895/350 Speers, then switched to loading 3.5 B'eye with 158 wadcutters in a 38 Sp'l. Now THAT's a switch. Fun, too.

<reloaderman>I also was loading some 45 colt ammo......I felt like I was shovling sand into a garbage can! A nice change of pace.
