Nickel-plated brass?
Strange question but:

I like nickel-plated brass but as far as I know it has never been available in 600NE.

Is there someone who could take clean cases and apply nickel plating? These would have to be useable and reloadable after the plating.

No real reason excepty I like it.

Thanks and stay well

Anyone in the plating business can do this.

Most have minimum orders of $100 give or take.....if you're lucky you might find someone to just throw them in with another order.....but this would be real luck

Be careful about electroless nickel.....this is not what you want.....and ask for .0001 max thickness. Your brass will be shiny nickel with this amount and maybe a bit less!

I would suggest that you have the brass very clean prior to plating!

Any plater worth their salts(pun intended) will perform what we call a bright dip prior to plating. Unless an etch is called for. Not sure, I have never plated nickel. My place of employment does both electroless and "real" nickel plating. Sorry only helicopter parts. This is one of Uncle Sam's shops.

Thank you Gentlemen,

Jeffe reminded me about the potential effect on primer pocket which I hadn't considered - might make it a no-go.

Thanks again and stay well

at .0001 thick, you'll never notice the difference!
