I've seen very little difference in any of it.

Some Lapua I came across did seem to be nicely uniform. Some Federal brass used in factory loads seems marginal, however they market some very good match and nickel brass. Remington and Winchester are similar in most calibers, with a few exceptions like R-P Hornet being notably lighter.

Years ago, Norma was famous for soft heads, but I'm sure that's different now.

Some Israeli IMI I've used seems okay, also.

I certainly can't see enough difference in brass quality to pay some of the exhorbitant prices I see listed for some of the European brands.

I'm with the good old boy from Texas on this.

Years ago there were very noticable differences in brass from the different manufacturers but that has changed in the last couple of years.

Tom, today, some of the LAPUA and RWS stuff needs as much work as the others and certain calibers of Remington and/or Winchester are match quality.

Stonecreek, the NORMA still has soft heads, at least in some calibers. I had a reamer ground for a 280 Ackley using Norma and many of the cases didn't make it past the fire-forming. I had the reamer re-ground for the Remington brass and everything works fine now.

Well another $ 0.0025 worth of input .

Lapua , RWS , Norma , Federal , Remington , and in my case anything other than Winchester at that point . Never used Nosler or Hornady so can't say on those .

Years back I would have said Winchester but not any more !.
After the last 4 batches of junk over 3 years that I purchased . No more of it for me .
