Care of reloading dies
How can I prevent my nice RCBS dies from getting rusty?

My bench is in my basement, and the usual humidity is 60-80%. They are not rusted yet, I just want to prevent this.

Store them in their plastic boxes in a 50cal ammo can.

I use Boeing T-9 Lubricant. It was developed to prevent corrison in airplanes. Bicyclist use it to lubricate their chains and gears. I also use it sprayed on a swatch of paper towel, put in a large zip loc bag and roll clean brass in to lubricate the cases before I full lenght size. I never stuck a case yet.

I should think any oil would work in the short term . "Rig" grease would be ideal for long term storage.
