boondockerLee tumble lube bullets
Hi fellas
Well I cast up an loaded some 45 acp 200 gr swc with the micro groves. Does anyone shoot these and how far do you seat them. I went to the range today and I had feeding problems with them seated at 1.245 as it seems thesoulder sticks out farther than the hg#68. Do you think I can seat them a little deeper like 1.200 as long as they feed and no pressure signs. I am using 3.7 gr of Clays. Thanks Boon

LeftoverdjFeeding problems, not lockup problems?
If they feed ok but the gun won't lock into battery (assuming a 1911 or variant), you need to seat them a little deeper.
I don't know Clays powder, but it seems unlikely that 3.7 grains of anything in a .45 ACP case under a 200 grain bullet would be dangerous.

NBHunterTo get them to feed right in my .44mag carbine I have to crimp in the very top groove.
