ZekePulling Cast Bullets...Saving Powder?
I am pulling 150 rounds from my late unlamented 45 Super phase.

I think? the bullets can be saved. I wonder about the powder. It has a few flecks of wax here and there but doesn't look too bad.
I am leaning towards tossing the powder.
Any thoughts from the studio audience?
Thanks

MarkWhat type of powder is it? I'd be tempted to save the powder and remelt the bullets!

If it is a ball powder you can probably put it in a large plastic cup and gently shake it and have the wax migrate to the surface where you could scrape it off with a spoon. I'd guess that flake and stick would behave the same.

ZekeAlliant Power Pistol. Bullets are 225gr hard cast.
The pulled bullets measured identical to new.

MarkIf you're happy with how they look then by all means use them.
Try putting the powder in a cup and agitating it, I think you'll be able to recover that too.
