Corbin press for reloading.
Hi,

I may get a Corbin S-press (2nd. hand, hardly used) at a reasonable price. I do not plan to do any swaging; it will be used for normal reloading of calibres from .222 to .375H&H.
I want a good press. Should I go for this, or save some more money and buy a new Co-Ax?

regards,
beefeater

I'd take a Co-Ax over a Corbis S Press, but I'd take the Corbin Mega-Mite press over either one... The S-press is probably better made than most traditional presses, but the geometry has the same weaknesses (less ram support as the ram reaches the top, where loads are highest). The co-ax and mega-mite have different geometries that avoid that problem.

BigJake, how does the RCE Walnut Hill press compare to the Mega-Mite & S-press?

It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.
