LE270What has hapened to RL 22?
Most suppliers seem not to have Alliant Reloader 22 now. What has happened?

Ol` JoeIt`s the end of the year, tax time. The shops around here always seem to run their shelves dry about this time and restock in March-April. This keeps their inventory low and taxes down. Don`t help you or me though.....

phurley5I keep at least 20 lbs in my powder locker at all times. I use it with several rifles and shoot them regularly. Good shooting.

Red C.I just bought the last canister of RL22 in McAlester, OK. They said they thought they could get more, but it would take a couple of weeks. Hope they're right. I go through a ton of it in my and my son-in-law's .257 Wby Mags.

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

WyFLyGuyI have looked for RL22 powder now in several stores and shops in three states without any luck. One sales clerk told me he hadn't seen it in several months. I'd sure like to know what the deal is.

I prefer my fish raw, my meat extra rare, and P.E.T.A on the BBQ. Any questions?

lawndartHas anyone noticed any decrease in its temperature sensitivity?

ForrestBWinchester WXR is a very, very close substitute to RL-22 and since Winchester discontinued WXR I've seen it listed online at some closeout prices. It might be worth looking into.
Lawndart, I haven't noticed any change in temperature sensitivity but it has been gawdawful about lot to lot variability. I blended all my jugs of RL-22 along with 32 lbs of WXR. My days of worrying about lot to lot variations should be over with now.
