Tracker12Need 30-06 load
I am looking for a good 30-06 load using 150 grain barnes X bullets. I was thinking IMR 4350.

snowmanTracker I use IMR 4350 in one of my 06s that I shoot 150 gr TSX bullets in. I would suggest you start @ 54grs and work up carefully

mhoRL15 is an excellent powder for 150 grs bullets in a .30-06.
If you are using an "old style" X bullet, you have to be a bit careful with pressure (seat WELL of the lands, and be prepared to stop below book max). Better if you tried out the newer TSX version, it is much more forgiving in terms of pressure, more accurate and fouls less...
For 150 grs TSX (and similar bullets), Alliant suggests the following loads:

carpetmanWhen I first started reloading, the 30-06 was my first. I selected 4064 as it seemed to be able to obtain top velocity for most bullet weights. Really that wasn't so important as 150 grain bullets became my go to and I dont shoot other weights. The old Lyman manual listed 4350 as the accuracy powder and after numerous people told me 4350 was THE powder,I tried a can of it. It wasn't as good as the 4064 in my rifle and 52.2 grains of 4064 has been the load for me.
