white bisonJamison Brass? Any users?
Hi: Does anyone have any experience with Jamison Brass? Quality, etc? Reloading quality?
Thanks,
Tom

GeronomoI have used Jamison brass. It seems to be very good, indistinguishable from the BeLL Brass from Mast Technologies that it replaced.

flutedchamberI have Jamison in 577-450 Martini-Henry. It is very consistant in it's dimensions and well made. It is also the only bulk packed brass that didn't come with dings in the neck.

I Hunt ElkI use it in 416 Taylor. It's real good quaily brass. I'm up to 6 reloads on some of it, and it still looks better then some new brass I have used.

Virginia CreeperI have used Jamison brass in the 505 Gibbs. It is a fine product for my use. After 6 loads I replace it, not because I have any failures, but because I don't want any when shooting 130 plus grains of H4831 and 525 grain bullets.
Jamison International is located in Sturgis, SD. When the S&W 500 was first introduced I used some of their brass and had no problems with it.
I decided to stick with Starline when they switched to large rifle primers because there's as much as 7gr difference in case capacity between the various manufacturers.

white bisonThanks for replies...I wondered how Jamison's reputation was...I had no experience with it.
You may (or may not) know that Jamison is going to make New Newton Brass in .256, .30 & .35 Newton cases.
That will be great for those (like me) that shoot Newton cartridges...and more than welcome New Newton Brass!
Thanks All,
Tom
