Data for .223Rem
Hello,
I need your help.
I have just purchased a new Tikka M595 Sporter in .223Rem 1-12"Twist
My experience with shooting ends at .30" cal, never really got into smaller cals.
I have three different powders,
Benchmark,
Varget
Reloader 15
Two types of bullets
55-grain V-max
52-grain BTHP MAT
Primer
Federal 205M
Brass
Winchester

Can you please give me few examples how to reload .223 using above components.

Thanks

Peter

I get good results with 55 gr Vmax and 1 in 12" barrels.
I use IMR4895, but Varget and Re15 should be as good.
The loads are at the Alliant and Hodgdon websites.
I crank up the loads and find extractor groove growth at 15% overload, back off 6%, and that is my max usefull load.

Hi Clark...

Could you explain what you mean by that?

Thanks...

Sorry, I don't think that much Varget of Re15 will fit.

I did that with a ball powder.
