SgtDan.45 acp shotshells
Newby to the board here. I am wanting to try to load some .45 acp shot shells...I know it's cheaper to buy the CCI stuff, but I enjoy making my own stuff. Can it be done without the RCBS dies which cost a small fortune? Thanks!

El DeguelloI think so. I made some by cutting off .308 Win. cases at the same length as a loaded .45 ACP ball round, sized down the front end so they would enter the cham, ber, used an inverted .45 cal gascheck and two .45 WonderWads over the powder charge, (7 grains Unique), then another gascheck over the shot before crimping. A card wad could be used over the powder as well.

SgtDan.40 sizing die to neck down to fit the chamber? What did you use to roll crimp? Thanks for the reply!
