Scota4570Lyman 3rd Eddition, (Very old book)
Lists:
Bullseye 2.0 - 2.7gr. (590-720 fps)
Unique 2.0 - 4.0gr (450-681 fps)
They also list a couple of old obsolete powders. Wow! 450fps., you could watch that fly, if the light was right.

Paul BI shoot the Lyman # 358430 (200 gr. RN) using 3.5 gr. of Unique. Very accurate in my .38 Spl. revolvers.

I used to use 9 grains of the
OLD-type Herc. 2400 with the RCBS 200-grain flatnose .35 Rem. bullet in my 38 Special. With today's 2400, I would start at 7 grains and probably not exceed 8 grains with the same bullet.
This old load shot well and gave about 900 FPS MV.
