mikehjdAnyone have loading data for the 6mm/284(Post for a friend)
Good day
I'm writting this thread for a friend of mine. He is wanting to build a 6mm/284. I'm not familliar with it but he in wondering what experiences other people are having with it and if anyone would like to share their loading data??

60 gr bullet : 59 gr 4350/50 gr H380/58 gr 4831
70 gr bullet : 52.5 gr 4831/ 49.5 gr 4350
80 gr bullet : 53 gr 4350/ 57 gr 4831
90 gr bullet : 53 gr 4831/ 55 gr 4350
100 gr bullet : 51 gr H450/ 43 gr 4320

<eldeguello>The above are good loads. I have also used MRP and RE 22 with good success, starting with H4831 STARTING LOADS and work up from there with Sierra 85 and 100 grain bullets, plus the Nosler 95-grain bullet. This is a fine cartridge!!

Like I said I'm not familiar with this round but a friend of mine met a guy in Wyoming that had one and got him excited about it. He'd only actually thought about it till then but now he's aquiring what he needs and is going to have it built. I think he's using A RugerModel #77 and probably a Gaillard barrel.
