JGrelleSpeer Gold Dot Ripoff
I am not sure when it happened but has any noticed that Speer stoped selling the 230 gr .451 Gold Dot in 100 qty boxes & not have them in 50 ct boxes for very nearly the same price(Watch & it will soon be the same price as the orignal 100 ct boxes). Smells like a scam to me. I have seen this alot before & companies will try stunts like this &
if enough of us make some noise with them hopefully we can get them to listen & correct their error. It just bull on their part & makes me mad as h@##. Then will try to claim it is customer demand, lol.
Rant over

ramrod340Sorry I don't see your issue. They sell the 230GD for short barrel for $27/100 and the 50GD 14.5/50. (difference in the bullets is??) Prices appear consitant with current prices for other premium bullets.

JGrelleNosler did the same thing years back & now their 50 packs cost the same as most other brands 100 ct boxes. If your ok with the change & thats fine, I see an a back door price incresase, have voiced my disaproval with them.

vapodogIMO one can never complain on the price..... there's enough competition in bullets to keep each other honest.....
If you think a certain bullet costs too much then buy the competitor's and there's pretty good competition out there....
How many bullet companies can we name off hand.....I can name 15 for a start...

Really??? Maybe you should shop around a bit more.
I just bought some 7mm, 120 grain Ballistic Tips for 12.09 per box of 50. Hornady & Sierras in similar weights run $21 to $26.49 per hundred. Even the Rem CLs are now encroaching on $20 per box of 100.
