good small rifle magnum primer

I need to get some small rifle magnum primers for loading the .454casull.

At the moment I am using CCI BR - 4 primers, which are to some extent wasted considerin the aplications I use the pistol for, I have found that maybe they are not hot enough to give consistent ignition.

What would be a good choice?

I have been using CCI 450 small rifle magnum primers for my 454 Casull without any problems. Federal magnum primers would be my second choice. Good luck.

You shoulh have no problem with BR4 in your 454, I use then in mine with 2400, the only other primer I would use is Fed Small Rifle Match GM Primer.
