Recommended crimp........
What is recommended crimp for 9mm rounds? I'm going from .374 to a taper crimp of .371, is that about right?

NONE; crimps on 9mm rounds are like tits on a bull; total unnecessary, IF your expander plug is the right size. Another solution to a non existent, or easily corrected, problem.
Just put the belled mouth back straight.

Also don't forget that the case headspace on the case mouth. Too much of (an unnecessary) crimp could allow the case to seat itself too far into the barrel.

Good deal, I'll back off a little on it, I never thought about it until I set up my new LNL AP. My 9mm die had been adjusted like that since about 1981.
