Nice to know Midway believes in their customers. I`ve done a lot of business with them and never (knock on wood) had to go to their customer service, I`ve always found their reps to be most helpful when placing a order though.

Midway customer service is great! I have had to use them twice, once because of my error (ordered the wrong part) and once because there was problem with the item. Both times they exchanged it for free!

I do most of my online ordering from Midway.

I've gotten most of my reloading equipment through Midway with no problems. They've been very helpful in steering me in the right direction when I wasn't quite sure what I needed. I also took advantage of the birthday special pricing and got binoculars last year for $100 cheaper than Cabela's was selling them for.

If they are out of stock or don't carry something, I'll go elsewhere, otherwise they get all my business....great service!!

I will order from Midway if Mid South Shooters Supply doesn't have what I want.
i.e.cardboard cartridge boxes w/ styrofoam inserts.
Other than that,I like Mid South.

MidSouth is my fall back, but Midway dealer pricing is better in most cases. Sometimes Brownell's beats them both on price. I just ordered powder from Midsouth because Midway doesn't carry it.

Once they shorted me 36 cases in a bulk box of 500, 8 MM Mauser brass cases. I called and they immediately sent me a box of 100 more! I recieved it 2 days later. NO CHARGE! billt.

I order from them all the time, because the price is good. (dealer)

The only time I called "customer service", I really think they dropped the ball.

I ordered dies for a 44mag. The threads were botched up and one of the dies wouldn't screw down on my press. I called Midway. They said I could send it back and they would then send it back to RCBS on my behalf OR I could just deal with RCBS directly and he gave me their number. No offer to pay for shipping or send a replacement. Heck, YOU are the ones that send the bum product. I dealt with RCBS directly. Not a great way to win friends and influence people.

YMMV.

Midway service is what SERVICE should be like in all industries. Only reason I would not use them is because they don't have it.

SmilerI had to send back some items that were real bad and I mean bad. No explaination, thank you or kiss our ass. Then last week here comes along some ammo that should have never left the store, badly corroied. No answer so far.

Midway has always provided excellent service to me. I am surprised when I hear somebody had a problem with them. I have dealt with them virtually sice they opened.

I am glad you are happy with Midway. I too was a former Midway customer. Spent tens of thousands of dollars with them over 20+ years. Last spring Midway advertised a product and I bough it. The product rquired different bushings to work. Their add said, "bushings" I bought several sets of the different sized bushings. My invoice said "bushings". But the bags contained only one bushing of each size. I confronted Midway about the Bushings vs bushing. They said the product only required one bushing. I called the manufacture of the product and they said it did in fact require two bushings. I will say Midway took the product back because I was not satisfied. But there resolution was not the honorable thing to do. They should have made their mistake good an not lost a good customer. I have made up my mind, I will never buy another thing from Midway.

I tried to buy bullet alloy from Midway. They wanted a fortune to ship it to me. I asked them to ship it to me using the USPS flat rate boxes. They told me it was to much trouble even though they would ship it through the post office anyhow. I ordered the alloy from Buffalo Bore who used the flat rate boxes. Stupid me, I always thought the customer could specifiy how they wanted their order shipped.

I had to go through customer service recently. They sent me the wrong size ammo boxes. I sent them back and they even credited my account for the shipping to send it back to them.

I also just placed another order with them. It's my birthday this weekend, and they gave me that super special birthday pricing. clap Saved me about a hundred bucks!

Never heard of B'day pricing. I've always been well please w/ Midway and think their user friendly website is superb, though slow at times.

Never anything but excellent service from Midway. Love their birthday pricing. Saved over $60.00 on a Leupold scope purchase from them that way. This company is really one of the good ones.

How does one get the Birthday pricing? I just had a birthday (and they have that info in my account) and didn't hear anything from them. I do get the E-blast notices on a regular basis, though.

Thanks,

They just sent me an email saying that if I log into my account and place an order before 1159pm on my b-day, I will have reduced prices on that order. I almost deleted that email b/c I usually just delete their e-flyers.

Approximately how much is the B'day price savings?
14 October 2005, 02:26
Steel Slinger
Depends on the cost of the product. I saved about 15 bucks on a chronograph, about 2.50 or so on a box of TSX, about 5 or 6 dollars on 1000 9mm bullets, etc.
