antonio73182Lyman or Redding???
I just purchased a Win M70 Coyote in 243wssm. I am looking at dies for it and have come to rest on two different sets. As you can tell from the subject heading I am stuck between Lyman or the Redding set. I dont mind paying the extra for the Redding, but if Lyman is just as good for a cheaper price I'll go with them. Or is it "You get what you pay for." So whats all your opinions?
Thanks
Anthony
Definitely get the Redding dies. Lyman dies will do the job but not necessarily well. It's like having a Caddilac or a Chevette to chose from. Both will get you there, but the Cadillac will do a better job, and easier too.
Split the difference. I own Reddings, and they are nice dies, but I wonder how many people can take full advantage of them. I think the Lee is not only much cheaper but much more user friendly in my book. Same thing with the RCBS dies. RCBS sure is head and shoulders above Redding on customer service, even better than Lee. Lee is not that bad in itself for customer service in my opinion.
Just 2 cents worth from Hooterville Oregon!
Cheers and Good shooting
