BigNateWhat kind of accuracy can you get with a 100gr. bullet vs. heavier? What is the twist rate of your barrel?
I have thought of loading up some 100's for my 7mm RM but didn't think it would do to well as the 175's group incredibly well.

4bambam9 1/2 twist in 7stw and 7 R-mag is the same, both in WBY models. Accuracy is just great in the 7stw with the H-100gr HP. As only for doggies and rabbits, as to with in 200-250 yds with around a 3in drop. Accuracy is the same as to reloading the 140gr corelokt at 3520av.fps for rabbits also at that distance. The corelokt blow's them to pieces also, but is more accurate past 300yds just plinkling and shooting with the B-range finder. I load my 7 mag with 73.5grs of H4831 with the 100gr and puts out over 3600avfps

I do not shoot any bullets in my 7mag past a 140gr, use a 139gr Hornady or 140gr Nos-P with H4831-69.8gr at 3240av.fps for hunting. And in the 7stw 140gr Nos-P and at most the 150gr Scirocco for hunting.
