Dents appearing in shoulder when full length resiz
Have noticed that small dents appear in the shoulder and sometimes the neck of the case when de-capping and re-sizing(full length).
Wondering if it still safe to use that case and what would be causing it and how to stop it.
Would the case re-form upon firing, will the small dent be enough to increase pressure.

Damien:

This is happening because you have too much lubrication on your case when full length resizing. It will not hurt anything on shooting the case as it will pop back out on discharge.

You need to go a little easier on the lube or wipe off the case a little with a shop rag before sizing it.

Good luck

Yup, too much lube, combined, most likely, with a plugged vent hole.

Clean your dies and try again. Cases should be just fine. HTH, Dutch.
