jerry2Buying rifle power from a person living in another state?
Is it legal to buy rifle powder from a individual in another state? A person has powder I need but he lives in another state. Can anyone give me so idea as to what to do legally?

SmokinJYes it is. You can either go to the person and purchase it or have him ship it, BUT if it is shipped you have to pay a hazard fee on it that isn't worth the cost of say one pound of powder. Now there may be some state law on how big of an amount can be sold n purchased. That's I'm not sure of.

LamarI have to go to another state to buy powder unless I wanna order it and pay haz-mat, or buy 50 one pound canisters.

larrysAnd if the person is going to ship it to you, not only do you have to pay a hazmat fee, BUT the person shipping legally has to be certified hazmat shipper, not just joe blow off the street. Not that it doesn't happen, but don't let them catch you.

wympleToo far from me. I have some extra but will not ship. If someone lived in a close proximity I'd drive it. I don't really need what I have.
