Any .338 within reason will work.

Yes, there are .338 bullets made for tube magazine .33 Winch rifles. Hornady makes a 200 grain FN and Hawk 180 & 200 grain FNs.

The Hornady was designed specifically for the velocities at which the .33 Winch operates; I presume the Hawks were as well, but don't know that.

Given a decent bore, cast the suckers.

NO NO NO - the 33 winchester uses .333" bullets, not .338"
You can use the 250 & 300 grain Woodleigh Bullets for the 333 jeffery, or you can get dies to swage down .338" bullets to .333". Another option is to use cast bullets.

Try a search in Mid South Shooters Supply catalog.

http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/

They have the Hornadys listed.
They make good bullets to use in the 338 Mag for reduced load (33 Winchester velocities) hunting!
