375 HH 400 Grain Load
Gents,

What would be a safe starting load for a 400 gr. bullet in 375 HH?

Have only seen loads for the 350 gr.

Thanks,

Roger QSL

With enthusiasm, we are in the final stages of the testing of our new brand of rifle bullets.

Range testing has shown them to have phenominal penetration in wet pack, compared to other loads.
In some cases, double the penetration.( 2.2m in wet pack )

The first bullet manufactured is a 600g in .458 caliber. This bulet, at 1850 fps, penetrated the full length of a Cape buffalo ie. in the chest and out the butt.
The 500g version is but a few weeks away, and similar results are expected.

The bullets consist of a cast alloy core, which is then copper plated, to various thicknesses, depending on application. In the 600g and 500g version described above, the plating is 15thou per side.

For the practice/plinking bullet in the different calibers, the plating will be 10thou per side.

Over the next two months, we will be hunting Eland, Zebra, Impala and Black Wildebeest in .458 and .375 ( 400g )

Will keep the forum informed of results.

Jay, no trick question. Iv'e been looking hard and long for a 400 gr. for the 375.

Yspen, yes, hopefully they will be making a 400 grainer.
