Speer Grand Slam 250 gr in 338/378 or other Large .338's
Has anyone used this bullet in there 338/378 and how does it perfrom in this cartridge..................is it as tough a bullet as the manufacturer suggests ??
Have loaded it in .338 winc. mag, .340 weatherby mag., .338/378 KT. Used a 340 to down a moose at 450 yards(ranged) with 1 shot. Seems alright to me.

ztreh did you recover the bullet ?? How much weight did it retain ??
