Kris308.308 & .300 win mag loads
Hi,
I am trying to find loads for the following cartridges. If anyone has had experience with these or can help at all it would be much appreciated.
.308
Hornady 110 grain Vmax with H4895, magtech primers
.300 Win Mag
Speer Flat SP 170 grain with RL22, CCI250 or Fed Primers.
.300 Win Mag
Nosler Partition 150 grain Spitzer with RL22 or Varget. CCI250 or Fed Primers.
Many thanks once again if you can help.

phurley5Kris ----- I load for my .300 Winny and eight others in my Elk hunting group that hunts Colorado each year. My load is 76 grains of RL-22 and Fed 210M primers, behind 180 grain Nosler Partition or North Fork bullets. No other powder matchs the RL-22 for accuracy and speed in my opinion. Good shooting.

tnekkcc110 gr Vmax moly .308 LC or WW brass, 44.9 gr surplus bulk IMR4895 that acts more like H322, 2.815"
I have shot this before [2950 fps 22" barrel], and the reason that is all the powder I put in is because that is all that will fit in the military brass, the WW has room for another 4 gr.

friarmeierKris, I'm pretty sure that 170 gr. speer flat point is intended for the 30-30; if that's the case, it might make for an interesting hand-grenade upon impact!

Kris308Hi friar, LOL thats a good one.
Yes I know it maybe isnt the first choice of bullet head for the .300 but I was given them by a friend, so I thought it maybe worth trying them out. I was thinking maybe 78 grains of reloader 22 and CCI250 primers?. Any thoughts anyone?.
