Question for users of Hornady "one shot" lube..

Seems like alot of people are using it and liking it. I may be undertaking a bit of a higher volume load job in .243.
It seems like shooters are saying it's ok to leave a bit in the case mouth....ie not bother cleaning the inside after sizing.
What is your opinion.....I hate to see granules of powder sticking inside the case mouth while charging the case if the lube attracts it.
Info from you guys that use it please.....thanx!

I second that motion!

I decap and tumble in lizard litter, then size (either FL or neck) using one shot then into corn cob to remove what ever is there and to add some shine.

I like to use 1 Shot by putting the brass in a 1/2 gallon plastic tub, spray shake spray a little more. Then hold the tub at a 45 degree angle and shake it, all the brass will line up and you can make a pass over the mouths. I have never had an issue with any sort of powder contamination, at least not that I could measure.

for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

And I 3rd that motion... if that's acceptable... I wipe each case quickly with a rag and dump them in the tumbler using walnut hull media with jewelers rouge (sp?) and it leaves nothing in the mouth of the case.

I have been using Hornady One Shot for as long as I can remember. I think it is a great product. I sometimes have to help it out a little with large cases by using a little Imperial Sizing Wax, but for the most part, it works great.

Do not worry about the residue in case necks. It says right on the can that it will not harm primers or powder. I have loaded thousands and thousands of cases with this product. (I loaded over 4000 rounds last year.) I have seen powder stick in the neck, but I just do not worry about it. (pretty rare, though)

kraky, One Shot will not foul powder nor impede powder funneling into case. I use One Shot on sizing button.

I do not use One Shot for body sizing.

I use One shot for all but case forming. I reload .223 usually about 2000 at a time and I spray the case mouths and have never had a problem. I was concerned about powder sticking also but after thousands of rounds loaded and I have no idea how many cans of the stuff I've used I no longer give it any thought. I don't even lay my 223 cases out flat to spray them, I just spray them as they lay in a plastic container while I'm loading them. For all other calibers I do lay the cases out, spray, rotate then spray again.
