wbilottaBerry's Preferred Plated 45acp 200grain RS and Unique
I cannot find any data on this particular bullet. The closest I've found is a MidwayUSA FP which is another plated bullet with a similar shape. The Berry's have a round shoulder and flat top.
I'm thinking of 5.6g of Unique but I need to find out the OAL. My older manual says 1.275 with the MidwayUSA bullet. This is just for target use.

243winxbThe COL has to fit the magazinge & feed. Unique at 5.6gr with 200 gr would seem to be a light loading, maybe to light?? I dont load plated.

gwindrider1I'd up that load to 6.5 grns. with Unique.

Note: Always start with the minimum recommended powder charge and be sure they will properly cycle the action of your pistol before reloading a quantity.
He informed me plated bullets and lead are pretty much treated the same when it comes to powder charge. 5.7g seems to be right in the middle of what Alliant is recommending for a 200grain plated round.

TEANCUMI've used 7.0g of Unique and a JHP 185g for a velocity over the chronograph of 727 fps with a St. Dev. of 18 out of a Paraordinance P-14-45 with a5" barrel.
Accuracy was ok not fabulous but not pitiful either.
