Paul KC H Dies
I have been shopping for a set of 450-400 3" dies. I have 30 sets of RCBS dies but find there price on the 450-400 dies a bit stiff.
CH dies are alot more reasonable, but I am unsure about their quality. Any input on their dies would be appreciated.
Thank You

Woodrow SI will be ordering a set myself, and yes, their quality is very good. I have a set they made for my Encore barrel in 378GNR, built by Gary Reeder. They are about $100 cheaper than the RCBS.

seafire2I give them very high marks for the 2 die sets that I ordered thru them...
They are the only manufacturer of Rosette Crimp dies, the dies that are used to make blanks...

The only CH dies I have are for the 6.5 Carcano. They are near 50 years old and really have served me well, especially when we were making cases out of 30-40, .303 and mil. Carcano brass. I'll bet you think that's

One of the worst products I've ever used. They're especially to be avoided in the flanged Nitro Express Express calibers, as CH has some pretty strange ideas about proper dimensions for them.
Hornady .450/.400 dies might be cheaper than RCBS.

Thanks for the input. I guess I will bite the bullet and order a set of RCBS dies.
