BISCUTI really like the performance of the Barnes TSX and TTSX but as someone who shoots a lot of rifle in a lot of calibers -- they are just way to expensive!! $45 for 50 35Cal bullets sucks!! especially when the AB is like $8 per 50 less.....
Good videos, thanks for sharing.

Yep. I try for spine/shoulder if I can. But I have no problem shooting for lung either.

seafire/B17GWhile I was out hunting with a friend a couple of seasons ago, I had the opportunity to watch a deer getting shot with a Barnes TSX from an 06... from the angle and vantage point I had, I watched the bullet exit the off side...
that was pretty amazing.. it came out of the deer like a puff of smoke and kept on going.. the deer dropped like a sack of rocks...

I never gave it much thought, but the one video brings up an interesting point about spent energy prior to exiting the gel. They calculated a remaining 23 ft/lbs wasn't it? What I find interesting about stuff like that is when one bullet kills 2 animals. I've heard about a pass through on one animal and again complete penetration with an exit on another animal behind the first. That is truly remarkable if the remaining energy is in the 2 digits in these cases.

In the early days of the .378 Weatherby, the creators were filming it's performance in Africa when they shot a big bull Cape Buffalo on the near side of a herd.....the bullet killed that buffalo and the one behind it and again a third one a short distance away.....apparently not all bullets exit with small amounts of energy!
IIRC it was a copper clad steel jacketed 300 grain FMJ from Hornady!

Impressive! But that is why I wrote "if" when desribing any remaining energy being in the 2 digits.
