Doctor DYes.
Yes --- Sometimes.
Depends on the gun and the powder. The only way to tell is test them.

daveoI buy and use the CCI BR. primers when I can find them at the store. I use them with IMR 4064 powder and get good results.

I only use match primers from Federal. After years of using WLRs and WLRMs, which are very good primers, I noticed my 270 and .06 loads got tighter after using the Federals, so I just went with them for everything.

Rex RatYes, on my tack driving loads flyers are a thing of the past.
I am a strong advocate of FEDERAL MATCH PRIMERS. They have consistently performed very well. I have used CCI in the past, but did not have the same level of consistency.
