Anyone load for a T/C Prohunter 300 WM
hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone had any load info on a T/C. I've got a 28" factory barrell w/brake installed. I'm wanting to use either 150gr. accubonds or 168gr. TTSX's. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thank's in advanced.

I load for one though not with the bullet weights you mention.

thank's alot Grumulkin, that is an awesome group!! with some excellent shooting I might add. I thought about 200's also, but the only thing I'll be shooting is deer in Ga. and Miss. those deer usually weigh +/- 220 in Miss. and about #180 in Ga. I shoot alot of power/gas lines here and beanfields/food plots(200-400yrds+)there. Thats why I decided on the lighter, flatter shooting bullets. I really do appreciate it and I'll keep that load in mind.

What you need to do is look at velocities and ballistic coefficients. I believe you'll find that if you sight in 1 to 2 inches high at 100 yards you'll be somewhere in the range of 12 to 16 inches low at 400 yards which is pretty easy to estimate. I think you'll also see that at distances out to 400 yards there is not going to be a whole lot of difference in bullet drop between 150 and 200 gr. bullets.

In my opinion, at long range, accuracy trumps a lot of other things.
