R-WESTGood shootin', big. What brass did you use? I've got some of those components lying around (and a VSSF!!) collecting dust, too. Now that winter SEEMS to be easing a bit, I may actually be able to try some.

Wonder why Hdys get such a bad rap all the time? I've never had a problem with 'em, either for accuracy or performance.

Michael_EI dont consider the J4 168's cheap!! They are cheap to buy, but they shure are good bullets.
Have you tried the 178 AMAX in your 308? They seem to be another spectacular bullet in the 308. With Varget or RL-15. I shot my very best groups back to back with those. The first group was my very first 1 hole group and the second group fired was at 300 yards. It measured 0.341" Alot of 308 shooters are reporting simialar results with the 178 AMAX.

mr.bigthe Hornady 168 Match Moly is near identical to the 168 Berger LTB at a little less than 19$ a box,the Bergers are over 30$.in my VSSF you can shoot 3 of one and 3 of the other in the same group and you cant tell which bullet made which holes.
