Mandebvu340 WETHERBY MAG RE-LOADING
Good morning to you all.
I am sorry if this has been done before and I have done a search and read the old posts, I am looking for an "up-to-date" version please.
My name is Keith and I now live in the UK where I have finally been granted the permission I needed to obtain a "large" clibre Rifle for Deer Stalking here in the UK as well as takeing it back home to Africa if God should bless me one day; for Game there.
I am a Magnum fan and have just got my First Weatherby after years of wanting one! Its a rather tatty MK V with a wood and synthetic stocks. I have no history with this weopon at all which is sad and I certainly could not pay for a new one as much as I wanted one.
What I am after is re-loading information. Ammo is simply not available here at all and special orders have to be made. I have never re-loaded before ..... and relied on probably some of you (clients)comming to hunt in Zim and leaving/selling me ammo

so this is all very new to me. Considering a year or two ago I could not even use a computer, thats what being braught up in the Sticks does for you as well as haveing no interest or enthuisiasm of the subject at school, I was delighted to find you all here, haveing called some of the places some of you have been to Home.!( I find it very difficult looking at the pictures of Zim so avoid it)
Right so.... I have had help from a friend who used to come and Hunt in Zim who fortunately lives not too far from where I am based at the moment . He has and will continue to assist and show me the basics. He has been doing re loading for years( for alot of Weatherby's) As he runs a top bird shooting eastate here in the Uk he is not always at hand when I need him so I would like to come up with Suggestions on what I need.
I know I will be useing Fedral 215 Match Primers. My 100 Cases of Norma/Weatherby Brass arrived just two days ago from the States (£150GBP worth

). My dies (RCBS) and the rest of my kit will be arriving over the next few weeks in Dribs and drabs. I have a mixture of Lyman and RCBS comming through. I have a Lyman 48th Edition Loading book comming too.
I would like to Begin useing 180 g heads,200g after. They have to be expanding heads to be leagl for stalking here in the UK. Anny recommendations on what to start with? I do like my long shots.
I had never heard of Weatherby a few years ago but am sure glad I did eventually. I have always wanted a super fast calibre, and before this I had heard of but never seen a 220 Swift till I got to this country , I now own one too and will start reloading here for that as well. Watch this space for a 416 and 460 WBY MAG's as well

I cannot wait to start and cannot wait to get these bad boys back to Zim possibly one day.
Many thanks to you all and what a great site and forum. I have been reading it for ages.
I look forward to all responses and thanks for your time.
