Hey can anyone tell me where I might find some fed. gold match 210m
primers. Or is everyone having a hard time getting them?
Thanks

DwightThere appears to be a shortage and luckily dot some of the last we had at the range. The guys in Canada are having trouble getting primers also. There are some out there but not in abundance.
You sure can't find them in Houston. Someone over on 24 gave me a heads up on The Gun Doctor,(903) 753-3518, in Longview and I was able to get 2K a few weeks ago. So if that's in your neck of the piney woods give them a shot. Good luck.

phurley5Gentlemen ------ Stay in this reloading game long enough and you will see primer shortages every 5 years are so. If you don't buy several when you can you stand a chance of getting cought with your fly open.

Good shooting.

7 Mag: Great to hear. They held them for me till I got up there, worked out fine.
phurley5: Lesson learned, no more buying 1000 at a time then more when I run out.

I know I asked this a few days ago , but want
to ask one more question on the subject. Thanks
to Ned I picked up some 210M Fed Primers .When
I got them I notice that the pkg was not the
same. The ones I have say GM210M on the box.So
are these the same primer. I called back where
I got them he said they were the same just boxed
different . What do you think .
Thanks
If the ones you got say GM210M those are the 210 match (210M) vs the regular 210. GM210M is what you want. From what I hear they are the same spec as the 210 just pass tighter quality control ( for what I have no idea ). I've used the regular 210's and of can't tell any difference but for some reason I feel compelled to pay more and use the 210M (GM210M).
Hope that makes sense.

Ned:
Thanks for the info. I am like you for some
reason ever thing is got to be the same. I know
this goes along with reloading it sould be the same.
Roger at Carter's Country says he's been to the Federal factory and was told by workers there that there was no difference between 210's and 210M's.
Take if for what it's worth.
They don't have any 210M's either but did have some 215M's so I picked up a brick. Use more of those anyway. Anything larger than 270 and any powder slower than IMR4831 is where I make the switch.
