StonecreekBW-36 powder from B-West Imports
Here's one I had never heard of before. I bought some used loading manuals, and there was a loose photocopied sheet between the pages which is a brief advertisement and some loading data for a powder called "BW-36", imported by B-West Imports of Tucson, AZ.
I remember B-West, but never knew they handled a line of powders. From the data, BW-36 appears to be about the speed of IMR 3031.
Does anyone recall using this line of powders? Just curious.

I'ved used it on 8 different cartridges starting some time in 1995.3031 data was used for a guide and results were usually good except almost every load showed a lot of soot on the necks and case. It was dirty the way I used it.I guess I never pushed it to a max. load. It's all gone now.

nelsonted1Several of us used it in highpower matches in Minnesota. I can't find my loads for the powder at the moment but we followed 3031 recomedations pretty closely. I used it a lot in a 308 M1 match rifle. It was a GREAT powder for me. One of the guys had family in Arizona, drove a pickup down and picked up a truck full. It cost 1/2 of one lb containers- we paid about $14 for two lb jugs. I'm using the last of mine as duplex powder with 860 and 870 50 cal powder in 30-06, 308, 7.5x55, 280 etc. Another story.
