Any new Sierra Bullets?
With Nosler getting into the "bonded" core game now, and Hornady supposed to be doing the same, does anyone know or think Sierra will ever produce any new style game bullets?

In a way I hope not. Sierra has done what they do best for so long and the market is quite covered by jacketed and cold formed lead filled bullets with plastic tips, bonded or not.

I don't see these bullets doing much new but they are a small incremental improvement.

I would like to see a different company make "monolithic" bullets in the USA. This may be the cutting edge if it's done right.

Why would Sierra need to go in that direction when they already have the ultimate hunting bullet, the m...mm...m..m

Okay! I won't do it! [Big Grin]

I have not heard of any new rifle bullets by them since the 8 MM MatchKing. But then MatchKings aren't hunting bullets............right? I wish they would come out with a 6.5 mm HPBT hunting bullet of 120 to 140 grains. And a 125 gr. BlitzKing in 30 caliber. Sierra hunting bullets take a bad rap by many but I have shot a fair amount of came with the 308 Win. using the 165 HPBT GameKing and it works very well. Tougher bullet than many people think. I am working with the 85 gr. HPBT GameKing in my 243 now.
