jrslate7mm Rem Mag loads - 175 gr. at 3000 fps?
Gentlemen,
I was curious as to what loads anyone here uses to reach this value. I am using Reloader 22 (63.5 gr.). I really like this load in my Ruger M77 MkII. It seems to shoot very accurately.
Any help would be appreciated..

fredj338I've also had good luck w/ RL22. Your load seems abit warm, but all rifles area a law unto themselves. You might also try H1000 or IMR7828. Good luck!

sdgunslingerWhile I have not yet tried it , I beleive RL 25 may get you to 3000 fps . Alliant's load shows better than 2900 at only 58-59000 psi , so you MAY have some room to work up carefully .

<Pumba>jrslate,
I would like to suggest that you give Hodgdon H-870 a try. I have had several 7.21 mm Remingtons with a 175 grain bullet that achieved over 2,900 fps using that powder. I only had one that reached 3,000 fps.
Good Hunting !

<imq707s>Has anyone had good luck with H-4831 in there 7mm Rem Mag loads? I've been trying it for a while and it seems OK, but not great.
