Does anybody have the cross reference for milsurp IMR 7383?

I would go back to the seller on that one (IF you can). I don't remember seeing that one unless it was wwwway back in the Thunderbird Cartridge days and I would NEVER trust my memory to be correct on what it compared to.

Jeff Bartlett may be willing to give you some information, but then since he did NOT sell it may be unwilling to stick his neck out!

My experience with IMR7383 indicates that it gets faster as the case gets smaller.It is similar to 4350 in my 7MM REM mag and in cases such as the 225 and 22-250 it is like 4064.Due to its bulk you can't fit enough in the 22-250 to get full performance,I find it superb for the 303 British.8X57 Mauser and 7.62X54 Russian.It is also useful in the6.5X55 with heavy bullets[4350 data here]. All in all a real bargain.

Thanks Roger Iappreciate your responce.I do a lot of shooting and have experimented with this powder.I agree with all the cautions.This powder is not for the new reloader.In its limited application it does a good job,thanks,Mike
