I need a 300 load
I looked for a few minutes at some loads posted here in the past, but saw nothing using the 190gr Sierra Match King HPBT bullet. I am using Winchester brass and Federal No. 215 primers. I have not selected a powder, but the Sierra manual calls for 64 grains of Accurate Arms XMR4350. Does anybody have a charge suggestion for my bullet using a spherical powder?

Root Beer,

I assume you are speaking of a 300 Win Mag.

During a rescent trip to the range to try several loads in my new 700 Police, I found that H4831 gave me the best results w/ the 180 grain MKs. I would imagine it would work great w/ the 190s as well.

I'm loading 75 grains, 70-73 oughta work well w/ those 190s.

Good Luck!

I don't think it is wise to "assume" anything, especially in reloading. I know of the following "300"'s:

.300 Dakota
.300 H&H Magnum
.300 ICL Magnum
.300 Lapua Magnum
.300 Remington SAUM
.300 Remington UM
.300 Savage
.300 VJR
.300 Weatherby
.300 Whisper
.300 Winchester
.300 Winchester SM

I hear ya Steve but, If any moron does not read what you assumed the cartridge was he has no business reloading in the first place.

Around here 99.9% of the folks that speak of a 300 are talking about the winnie.

Ooops! I flunked up in failing to tell you what kind of 300. I meant to say 300 WSM. I must have been thinking about something else.
