Any experience with these? Any better than others. They all seem to claim +/- 0.1 grain with just about all powders. That sounds good to me. They seem to be getting reasonable price wise too.

I got the Pact scale & measurer its a bit slow as I have not sent it in for the upgrade.I am content with it.

I wonder if the Pact electronic dispenser will work with the RCBS scale ? You know, the one that looks just like the Pact scale that mates with the dispenser. The Pact scales and dispensers look identical to the RCBS models, just different colors and prices. Reason I ask, I have the RCBS scale but the RCBS dispenser has been discontinued. The Pact dispenser is still available and a lot cheaper.

It looks like the same stuff.I went with Pact as they claim it is all made in Texas and it was cheaper.Call or e-mail Pact they should know.

I own the Lyman 1200 DPS. I've found it to be very reliable and accurate when using any of the powders it measures. Yesterday, using my Chrony, I found the standard deviation of a 20 shot string of RL15 measured approx. 14fps. As far as the speed of powder dispensed, I use a Lee powder dipper about 2 grains under the desired weight to speed up the process. I'm not familiar with any of the other dispensers on the market but the Lyman is accurate to within .1 grain or better. Additionally, clean-up or changing powders in the Lyman during a reloading session is fairly simple.

I use two of the old Lyman Autoscales that use the balance beam and auto dispensor for powders I use weekly. I got the RCBS digital scale and dispensor, didn't like the constant calibrating required, sold it and got the Lyman 1200 DPS and love it. I use it for high volumn usage for chambering I shoot for special occasions, like my .416 Rem and Rigby. That is my .02 worth. Good shooting.

I use the Denver Instrument Accurate load IV.
It is an excellent piece of machinery.

I have owned a Pact and had problems with it would come up with some wild ideas of what i wanted, yes the Pact and the older RCBS are the same unit , RCBS has their own now which is different I have had major problems with it as well, no more computers.

Have had major problems with my pact measure also. The scale is great and I wouldn't be without it, though. Found that a set of Lee dippers to establish the initial charge was good enough rather than trying, repeat, trying to get the pact measure to calibrate.
