DIES
I have been looking at the rcbs fl x dies and from what I see the main differance is that they save

you from triming as much. If there is something about these dies , I am missing and should know

please let me know.

you could look at the lee collet neck size dies , as ive tried them in a few calibers , 303,220 swift , 375 h&h, 308 win , and 250 savage , work very well , and cost far less than the rcbs , but i love my rcbs and bear dies too . just an idea , but the rcbs dies are very good , and only ever had 2 problems with their dies , but was long time ago , and not very common , so if i can i use theirs , but those lees are getting closer to being equal .enjoy ,brent.

Seems like I've heard that the X dies result in thicker necks over time?

Who else besides Redding makes body dies (dies that don't touch the neck, but set the shoulder back, and resize the body)? Redding doesn't make one for 8x57JS. That would seem to be the perfect companion to the lee collet neck sizing die, to get full length resizing without overworking the necks, and very little case growth.

I've also heard that removing the expander from the sizing die, and using a Lyman M die instead also helps prevent case growth.
