Wolf bross- coating removal
I got some Wolf 223 brass that has some sort of a coating on it. It looks like varnish.
What would you use to remove the coating before reloading. Or do you think it is necessary to remove it?

Are you sure it's brass? The Wolf stuff I've seen is steel.

I did hear that they do varnish the steel cases. I don't know why. And upon firing, the heat usually melts the varnish and sticks it to the chamber of the rifle, which has got to be a bitch to remove. Personally I wouldn't shoot that worthless crap. I seem to recall that it has a bad reputation for taking guns apart.
