Are these bonded bullets available to handloaders. If so, who handles them?

JMJ888Their website only shows the original corelokt for reloaders, not the new bonded version. I have seen the regular corelokt on many of the online retailers shelves but I would assume the new bonded version might be an improvement over the old ones.

Hot CoreHey Vapodog, To the best of my knowledge, Remington has three bullets available for the Reloading Public with the Plated-on Jackets:
50gr 0.224" PLHP
55gr 0.224" PLHP
80gr 0.243" PLHP
The 50gr 0.224" PLHPs are my normal carry Bullet for my 223Rem. They average in the 8s for me with randomly picked bullets that I've Moly Coated.
And I know a retired Winchester Rep who uses nothing but the 80gr 0.243" PLHP in his 6mmRem M70 for all his Deer hunting, including Mule Deer. Seems a bit light for me, but he tells me he has always had 1-shot kills with them.

Excellent inexpensive and accurate bullets.

They are NOT available, and I don't expect them to be either. Sorry.

Hot CoreHey Vapodog, The Bullets I mentioned are "Components" and made with the exact same process as the Core-Lokt Ultras.
Good bullets for the price.

Hot CoreHey Terry, The "jacket" is Plated onto the Lead similar to a Speer Gold Dot.

Back at the 2000 NRA Convention I got to speak with the current Remington Manager of Bullet Production and we were discussing the above PLHPs. I asked him at the time if he had ever shot any of them and he said they were some of his favorite Bullets.
About that time a "Wheel" walked up to talk with me and he overheard our conversation. He also mentioned he liked them very well.
So, I asked them both, "Why don't you expand the PLHP Line to larger Calibers? They are very accurate for inexpensive bullets and from what I'd seen on dog size critters held together well."
The Bullet Manager had an interesting look on his face, but bit his tongue. Then the "Wheel" said, "You just never know what you might see in the future!"
We talked a bit more and the Wheel got called away. The Manager finally said something to the effect that led me to believe they were already working on it, without actually saying so.
I don't know if there is any significant difference between the Core-Lokt Ultras and the above PLHPs, but the process should be very close to the same.
