Accurate 2460 rifle powder?
What cartridges have you tried this powder in, and what were your results?

I tried one spread with 69 Nosler Competition bullets and was very disappointed with the powder. Tomorrow I am trying it in the .308 Winchester.

Not bad in my 7-08 and 7x57 but nothing to get excited about. Trying to develop a load for my .243.

  • .243 -------good results
  • .308--------SO-SO
  • 22-250------Great
  • 8X57--------OK

Truthing ,however,It may have been more the performance of the bullet and not the powder that was indicated. beer

Shot it in the 308 today with 168 Sierra's and so - so is about right.

I tried it for the .223 and .30-30 and I found that another powder would work better in both guns. I still have nearly a full canister of it. I need to find something that it will shoot well in.

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.

I use it behind heavy bullets in my 223.

    As usual just my $.02

Generally works well in medium capacity cases that have sharp shoulders and small diameter bullets....like the .22 PPC, .219 Don Wasp, .22 BR at the smallest end... Works even better in longer small-bore (.22, 244, and .257) wildcats off the .250 Savage case.
